Backend Engineering

In this growth stage, facing slow feature development and rigid codebases is common. I will partner your team, focus on streamlining your system by applying proven methodologies such as TDD and SOLID principles, making it more adaptable and efficient, leaving you with an upgraded team members that are skilled in these transformative techniques.

DevOps as a Service

By establishing and managing CI/CD pipelines, monitoring and observability tools and cluster orchestration systems such as Kubernetes and ECS from the zero, I will streamline your development and deployment processes, ensuring rapid, reliable, and continuous integration.
These tools and methodologies allows your team to take full ownership of your products, end-to-end, while maintaining optimal system reliability and performance, and ensures that your company's technological infrastructure is robust, agile, and ready for scaling challenges.

Software Architecture

I will assist your team in architecting and evolving your technology infrastructure to meet the demands of growth and deal with scaling issues causing your system to fail. If you want to make large architectural changes, break your monolith into multiple microservices or handle data migrations, we can plan this change together.
We will start by finding your bottlenecks and understand why this change is required, design how to implement it and plan its gradual path to production, while supporting the current product's demands at the same time.

As a content moderator in Reversim Summit, the biggest tech-conference in Israel, a conference organizer in Scalapeño, a Scala conference in Israel and a public speaker by myself I have ton of experience in presentation skills, delivering a message effectively, visual design and public speaking in general.

Past Experience

Passionate about making an impact

I’m a former architect at Tipalti and Approve.com (acquired by Tipalti in April 2021), where new cutting-edge tools and methodologies that I introduced enabled the group’s remarkable growth by 3x and allowed our R&D group to deploy much more frequently (dozens of times a day instead of once a week) while reducing the amount of bugs significantly, making the product more stable than ever.

By mentoring our engineers on one hand, creating new tools and maintaining our infrastructure on the other hand, I played a key role in Approve M&A process after the acquisition.

Prior to that, I was a software engineer and a hands-on engineering manager at Wix.com, where I led a team that aimed to build the Wix’s impressive notifications platform, scaled it from 0 to more than 1 billion notifications a month, making the notifications experience of our users way better than before.

I was also part of the founding team of Wix engage, Wix’s real-time chat application and Wix invoices, an event-sourcing/CQRS app for invoice management.

As a public speaker I’m always happy to share my knowledge in software conferences (NDC, JEE Conf, Voxxed Days and more) and in local meetups. I’m also volunteering as a content moderator in Reversim Summit, the largest conference in Israel for software developers in Israel, since 2016.
